Project 73Cabinet painting
West Oak Trails, Oakville
honey oak refinished light grey, counters and backsplash kept
We left this kitchen with the counters it came with. That is what a repaint is.
- Refinished light grey, doors in the shop and frames in the home
- New handles, chosen from a selection and included in the price
- Counters, backsplash, floor and appliances all untouched

01
Honey oak, beige laminate, patterned tile. Nothing here is broken and nothing here is unusual — it is the finish a great many houses in this part of Oakville were handed when they were built. The oak is the only thing anybody wanted changed.

02
The same room the day it was handed back. Grey doors, brass handles, and the beige laminate still doing its job underneath. This is the honest picture of a repaint — it changes the cabinets and nothing else, and at three thousand eight hundred it is the smallest job on this site.

03
The same kitchen three days later, with counters that are not on our estimate and were not fitted by us. It is here because it is what actually happens — a repaint is often stage one, and knowing the cabinets will be right lets somebody spend on stone afterwards rather than instead.
