uppers repainted, new lower doors cut to match
The lower doors are new. The upper doors are not. They are the same door.
- New waterproof MDF doors, lowers only
- Profile cut to match the originals
- Sprayed Vanilla Milkshake, polished chrome pulls

01
This is the door that stayed, and the thing the new ones had to match. Not the colour — the colour is easy — the profile. The width of that inner bead and the radius on the outer edge are what your eye reads when it decides two doors are a set.

02
It starts on paper and ends as a cutting program. The original profile was measured off a door, drawn out, and then programmed into the machine that cuts the new ones — which is the part a door catalogue cannot do for you. Order from a catalogue and you get the nearest thing they happen to make.

03
Half of what you are looking at is forty years old and half of it was cut this summer. Everything is sprayed one colour, so the join disappears. The counters, the floor and the layout never moved — only the doors below the counter were ever replaced.
