01
Glass fronts either side of the window, and everything behind them on permanent display. It is a feature until it is a chore. Nine of these openings were never going to look right white with the contents still showing through, so nine doors were made instead.

02
The handle written on the door in marker. One hundred and sixty millimetre centres, black, with the old brass one laid beside it to argue against. The spec lives on the thing it describes until the order goes in, which is harder to lose than a note on a phone.

03
The finished run, and the test of it is that you cannot pick the new doors out. Nine were made from scratch and the rest were stripped and sprayed, and the arch had to be the same arch across both or the whole thing reads as a patch.
