1 · Your kitchen

One wide photograph to recolour, and any others you want priced. Stand back — corner to corner beats a close-up.

2 · Your colours

Same colour twice for one colour throughout, or two for a two-tone. Tall pantry units follow the uppers.

The finish is what you will notice; shape is subtler at this scale. Each handle lists only the finishes it is actually made in.

An Oakville kitchen with dark oak cabinets, before any work

What we delivered — the finished job, photographed

That kitchen is in Oakville. We show it because it is the one job we have photographed at all three stages — as found, as previewed by this tool, and as delivered — and a complete set from an hour down the QEW is worth more to you than a staged one from round the corner. Your own photograph goes through exactly the same two steps.

“I wanted to reface existing cabinets and Nick explained in detail what would be done… Along the way he also gave me good advice about paint colours that I gladly accepted.”

The step before the samples arrive

Vaughan is where the van starts most mornings. Richmond Hill, Markham, Aurora and King City sit on the same northern run; Mississauga and Burlington are the southwestern edge, and Burlington is genuinely the far edge of it. Wherever you are on that map, choosing a colour has always meant waiting for samples to travel to you.

This page is the step before that. Narrowing a long list to two or three on screen costs you a photograph and half a minute, and it means the samples we do bring are the two you are actually deciding between rather than a fan deck. The visit gets shorter and the decision gets better — which matters more here than anywhere else we work, because the drives are longer.

Three ways to change your cabinets

Refacing — beforeRefacing — after

Refacing

New doors and drawer fronts, on the boxes you already have.

  • Change the door style — shaker, slab, raised panel, whatever suits the room
  • About five days without a kitchen, while the boxes are sprayed
  • Four to five weeks from quote to finished install — your doors are being made for four of them
  • Suits boxes that are sound but doors that are dated, damaged, or the wrong style

Example from Oakville — we haven't yet photographed a Vaughan refacing job start to finish.

Repainting — beforeRepainting — after

Repainting

Your own doors, degreased, sanded and sprayed in a new colour.

  • Keeps the door profile you already have, in a new colour
  • About five days without a kitchen, while the doors are sprayed
  • Two and a half to three weeks from quote to finished install
  • Suits doors that are sound and well made — only the colour has aged
Refinishing — beforeRefinishing — after

Refinishing

The grain, stripped back and shown again in a new tone.

  • Chemically stripped to bare timber, then sanded and stained under a clear coat
  • One to two weeks without a usable kitchen, while the boxes are stripped and finished
  • Five to seven weeks from quote to finished install
  • Suits solid timber worth showing, where only the finish has failed

Example from Oakville — we haven't yet photographed a Vaughan refinishing job start to finish.

Why homeowners in Vaughan choose us

The boxes stay, so the cost roughly halves
Refacing replaces the doors, drawer fronts and hinges and keeps the boxes already on the wall. The saving is labour and disposal as much as materials, which is why refacing lands at roughly a third to a half of tearing the kitchen out.
Two trades under one roof, which almost nobody else holds
Refacing companies wrap boxes in veneer because they cannot spray. Painting companies cannot build a door. This crew holds both, so the doors and the sprayed frames come from the same shop rather than two contractors matching each other's work after the fact.
The quote is the price
Wide photographs of every run produce a written price inside 24 to 48 hours. It is not revised after a visit and it does not move during the job — every add-on is its own line, so you can decline one rather than renegotiate a total.
Five days without a kitchen, not five weeks
Your doors are made while your kitchen keeps working. We only start taking anything apart at the house once they exist, which is what keeps the disruptive part to a single week.

What the colour actually gets sprayed in

Whatever colour you land on, it is sprayed in two-component polyurethane — catalysed, so it cross-links rather than simply drying, and it cures hard enough to take a kitchen's daily use. The primer is tinted to match the topcoat, which is why a chip years later shows the colour underneath rather than a white scar.

Doors and drawer fronts come off and are sprayed at our shop. The boxes are sprayed in your kitchen behind full containment. You keep a working, doorless kitchen while the fronts are away.

Not sure a photograph is enough to choose from? It usually is not — a screen cannot show you how a colour behaves in your own light, which is why we bring samples to the kitchen itself before anything is committed.

Questions

Still deciding? These are the ones people ask before they upload a photo.

Which cities can use this?
Anyone can use the tool — it works on a photograph, not a postcode. We quote and work across Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Aurora, King City, Scarborough, Mississauga and Burlington. The service area is drawn around where the van actually goes rather than a radius picked on a map.
Do you still bring physical samples after I have used this?
Yes. A screen cannot show you how a colour behaves in your own light, and nothing gets committed off a preview. The point of using this first is that we arrive with the two colours you are choosing between instead of the whole range.
The demo kitchen is in Oakville — do you work up here?
Vaughan is the base. We show the Oakville job because it is the one we have photographed at every stage, before, previewed and finished, and a genuine set of three beats a staged one taken closer to home.
How long does a written quote take?
Inside 24 hours, itemised by door, drawer and day rate. If you send the form on this page your photographs go with it automatically, so nothing has to be found and attached twice.
