   White, blue, stone and floor, laid out together on the floor of the house they were going into. A two tone kitchen is two decisions that have to survive each other, and the only place to find out is the room they will live in.

   The island, half built, standing on the shop floor beside its own blue panels. The boxes are made, not ordered — which is the reason this estimate can carry one line for a corner pullout and another for a spice rack and mean two different pieces of joinery.

   The bin drawer under the sink, one of eight extras itemised separately from the kitchen itself. You cannot see any of it with the doors shut — waste pullouts, a corner pullout, utensil and spice racks, and three internal drawers inside the pantry.
