oak sprayed Platinum Gray, crown moulding added, matte black handles
The crown moulding went on before the paint did, so it is part of the kitchen rather than a strip added to it.
- Sprayed Platinum Gray
- Crown moulding added above the uppers
- New matte black knobs and handles

01
A green tag on every door before any of them come off. Thirty-odd fronts leave for the booth and come back ten days later, and each one goes back on the hinge it came off — the tags are how.

02
The moulding is on and still bare wood. Every opening around it is sealed in film. Fit the crown first and it gets sprayed with the kitchen in one pass, so there is no seam where the new wood meets the old — do it the other way and you are brushing a strip to match.

03
Colour on, doors back, floors still covered. The counters, the backsplash, the tile and the boxes are the ones that were here on day one — nothing was demolished to change the colour of this room.
